Proxy Configurations¶

If you are testing in API that requires you to connect to it throught a proxy server, you can set special configurations in Paw.

Open the Preferences and click on Network tab

To open the Preferences panel in Paw go to Paw > Preferences. Then click on Network.

If you want Paw to follow your system proxy configuration for HTTP proxy you can choose any of the three HTTP libraries in Paw.
If you want to set a special configuration for HTTP proxy in Paw, you should choose Paw HTTP library or ASIHTTPRequest
If you want to set SOCKS proxy you should choose NSURLConnetion and Paw will follow your system settings

You can make Paw follow your system proxy configurations that you set in System Preferences > Network > Advanced > Proxies. Or you can set a custom configuration for HTTP proxy in Paw.
